The DLX™ Series combines large-format drivers with Wharfedale Pro's largest Elliptical Wave Guide (EWG) technology, a new improved woofer with the overall power handling around 25% higher than the LX. The high quality, high excursion, custom cast frame LF driver provides warm and open mid range and punchy low end.

DLX™ Mid/hi enclosures come with an externally switchable Bi-amp mode that bypasses the crossover network, connecting +1/-1 directly to the woofer and +2/-2 directly to the tweeter. DLX Subwoofers feature a bi-amp switch, which bypasses the passive network for reduced losses when using an external active crossover. DLX™ also features modular, symmetrically ported subwoofers for simple construction of parallel subwoofer arrays.
