We are thrilled to present the ZED-Series - small format, USB-equipped stereo mixers for live and recording. These mixers are for anyone, from entry-level to professionals, who appreciates fantastic sound, rugged build quality and imaginative feature sets.

ZED’s are great for live mixing! Their layout makes them very easy to use and easy to achieve a great sound. They are also perfect for recording, either a live show or an audio project at home can be built up track by track using the USB digital audio interface.

The Allen&Heath ZED-10 & ZED-10FX

The flexibility and quality of these mixers make them stand out from the crowd. You can plug your guitars or instruments straight into the class A discrete FET high impedance inputs, cater for up to four microphones, two stereo sources with MP3 player compatibility, separate 2-track record outputs and a stereo playback input for 2-track replay or perhaps interval music from a CD player, XLR main stereo outputs with inserts, comprehensive monitoring with headphones and separate monitor speaker outputs, 48V microphone phantom power, DI level switching for sub mixing, and not least of all, the same digital effects algorithms as those used on our flagship digital consoles costing 150 times as much!

ZED-10 and ZED-10FX are amazing little desks for small band mixing. They are ultra portable for carrying to the gig, and can be used for recording live or in the studio. Guitars can be plugged in directly to the mixer using the specially designed high-impedance inputs, while the mixer has two stereo inputs for MP3/CD players or keyboards. Equipped with professional XLR main stereo outputs and a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs.
In the FX version, we’ve added a set of fabulous effects to give shimmering reverbs and enhance your sound.

The Allen&Heath ZED-14

The feature-set is incredibly advanced for a mixer at this level – it has 13 independent sources to the mix, 10 independent outputs, 4 aux sends, a USB send & return for PC or Mac recording, playback and effects, a unique dual stereo input capability and some very advanced monitoring facilities. In fact, ZED-14 is so packed full of great features that you’d think it would cost much, much more! It can be used for many different tasks, whether in live performance, utilizing plug-in effects via USB, live recording via USB and Cakewalk, studio recording or mixing down to produce your own 2-track recordings.

The Allen&Heath ZED-12FX

ZED FX are easily controlled using 3 buttons and 9 LEDs. Quickly tap the ideal delay time or ‘dial-in’ the per fect amount of reverb on the lead vocal. One-stop navigation and editing… In fact, just as easy as your effects pedals. Hold down the TAP button and press the up or down button to alter the effects parameter, for example on patch (9) Plate, this would adjust the decay length. The ZED FX is designed to fulfil all the functions a small band would need
without their own sound engineer. The layout and features have been arranged to be logical and instantly recognisable at a dark gig- a mixer you can trust to per form.

The USB audio interface, with its uniquely flexible capability, allows different signals to be sent to USB, from LR or from selected aux buses. The USB return signal can be routed straight to the LR mix or to a stereo channel.  The connectors are placed on the top surface for easy plugging & patching, and the construction, with individual circuit boards firmly nutted to the top panel, is as rock solid as Allen & Heath’s top of the range ML Series mixers.

The Allen&Heath ZED-R16

We are delighted to present Allen & Heath’s first true recording mixer for over 10 years. The ZED-R16 is an exceptional recording mixer with 18 FireWire I/O which can also be used as a versatile live front of house mixer. The best per forming preamp in Allen & Heath’s entire range is packaged with a high quality analogue to Firewire inter face and the most extensive EQ on any mixer at this price point (or even twice the price!) An analogue channel strip so well featured, which sounds this good, is a real find at this level. The Allen & Heath ZE ZED-R16 combines an analogue recording mixer with a FireWire soundcard, MIDI controls and ingenious ‘home-studio’ routing so you can build tracks in the studio, record live gigs, mix-down, remix… all through warm analogue circuitry, 4 band fully parametric classic British EQ and out to crisp, precise digital format.
