Da-Cappo micro microphones are constructed using very high quality European-designed capsules. These capsules are the product of research done in the field of precision hearing instrumentation.
Currently, there are two capsules being used. The specifications are identical except that one has a 10dB lower sensitivity. This capsule is often specified by professional broadcasters who require the extra headroom provided by the use of a capsule with lower sensitivity.

Both capsules are omni-directional with a flat frequency response and have superb EMI protection.

Da-Cappo engineers have incorporated these capsules into the microphone housing in such as way as to make a water resistant microphone. This is an enormous benefit to performers working under intense stage lighting as well as in a myriad of industrial and commercial applications.

With the Da-Cappo range there are FOUR basic designs:

1. A single ear piece unit which is made normally for the left ear so that right handed people have their working hand free & unimpeded.
2. A two ear piece unit which has a unique folding ears for ease of transportation. On this unit the boom arm is switchable from side to side.
3. A lavalier style unit made to be used in its traditional way or woven into the hair in wigs etc for stage use.
4. A special theatre mic made for theatre applications such wig-weaving or sewing into costumes.
 

The DA12 Single Ear Set

DA12 is Da-Cappo's latest release microphone. It is the result of years of development and incorporates the following features:

the same 2.5mm diam European designed capsule which has been proven to provide clear full-frequency audio
enclosure design that protects the capsule in such as way as to be water resistant
radical new earpiece design that can be adjusted to suit smaller and larger ears
adjustable boom length to suit different faces and applications
available in two sensitivities. DA12A has a sensitivity of -35dB. DA12B has a sensitivity of -45dB. (The DA12B is produced specifically for users requiring extra headroom, eg professional broadcasters).
package now includes lavalier style mic clip to secure cable to collar behind head

DA12 comes in a zipper leatherette case containing the mic, cable, cable clip, and wind sock. At time of purchase, customer selects one adaptor from the wide range available.

The DA07 Headset Double Ear Set

The DA07 is a total redesign of our headset mic with folding earpieces. The new DA07 incorporates the following features:

enclosure design that protects the capsule in such as way as to be water resistant
radical new earpiece design that can be adjusted to suit smaller and larger ears
earpieces fold down to allow flat-packing of headset in zipper case
adjustable boom length to suit different faces and applications
available in two sensitivities. DA07A has a sensitivity of -35dB. DA07B has a sensitivity of -45dB. (The DA07B is produced specifically for users requiring extra headroom, eg professional broadcasters).

DA04 Lavalier Microphone

DA04 is a simple lavalier style microphone and incorporates the following features:

The same 2.5mm diam European designed capsule which has been proven to provide clear full-frequency audio enclosure design that protects the capsule in such as way as to be water resistant available in two sensitivities. DA12A has a sensitivity of -35dB. DA12B has a sensitivity of -45dB. (The DA12B is produced specifically for users requiring extra headroom, eg professional broadcasters).

DA04 comes in a small box containing the mic, tie clip, and wind sock. At time of purchase, customer selects one adaptor from the wide range available.

DA11 Stick Microphone

Introducing a brand new microphone especially developed for theatre applications.

The Stick has been developed around the same capsule used in the DA12 and DA07 - great sound, water-resistant, almost imperceptible.
